Obi Vintage Indonesian Belt

The belt was up-cycled from a traditional vintage dress made in Indonesia. The fabric is hand woven cotton dyed with black, brown and rust colored natural pigments. The reverse side is a textured, linen-like, cotton blend fabric in a matching rust color. The ties are made with the same fabric as the reverse side of the Obi. The decorative tassels were hand made and sourced from the trim that was sewn onto the bottom of the original dress. 

The Obi belt measures 31” in length and is 5” at the widest center point. Each tie measures 37” including the tassel making the overall length of the belt 105”.
